Gold has been at or near a record high this summer.  We have seen gold top at $1,265.00 per ounce recently, however it has declined back to below $1,200.00 per ounce lately.  Our precious metals recycling has grown and we are buying gold, platinum, and silver six days per week.  We are seeing the volumes increase over this summer.  We encourage you to look in your jewelry box and see if you have anything old that you have not worn for years.  If it is gold, you will be surprised by it's value.  We recycle our metal to a refiner.  We also are using more recycled metal in our engagement rings.  Two of our casters are now using only recycled gold in their mountings.  So, if you want to be green, we invite you to come in and look at our selection.  We can offer you a pre-owned or estate ring or we can offer you a new diamond engagement ring made with recycled metals.  Many customers are concerned about the enviromental impact of gold diamond diamond mining, as are we.  So, buying a pre-owned or estate ring is the new green thing to do.  That way you are buying a completely recycled piece.  The gold and the diamond are being re-used instead of mining new diamonds and gold to make a new ring.  Our pre-owned rings are completely refinished and come with a six month warranty.  We have diamonds from under 1/4ct in weight to 1.80 carat in weight and a huge range of qualities and prices.  Our pre-owned and estate engagement rings will cost from under $200.00 to over $11,000.00.  We have a huge selection in both white gold and yellow gold.  We have a few platinum rings at times, the selection varies a lot.

 

We also offer complete design services if you desire a new one of a kind ring.  We have computer aided design software and we can make you a virtual 3D model of you ring before it is produced.  That way you can make changes to it before it is cast.  We can offer you a new diamond for it or we can offer you a pre-owned diamonds.  Pre-owned diamonds will save you a considerable amount of money over the cost of a new diamond of the same size and quality.  Sometimes a pre-owned diamond can save you up to 1/2 the cost over a new diamond ring of the same size and quality.  And, it still looks new or nearly new after we refurbish it.  We also offer the first ring sizing on our pre-owned rings at no extra charge, just like our new rings.  All pre-owned diamond rings come elegantly gift boxed and most larger diamonds will have a Sarin proportion report with it as well as a report stating clarity and color grades.

 

And, as always we have a bench jewelers on staff and ready to discuss with you in person any repair or service work you wish to have completed.  We offer ring sizing, chain repair, diamond and colored gemstone setting, new mountings, rebuilding of prongs, laser welding, insurance appraisals, remounts, and watch service.  We also offer restoration services for older and vintage pieces of jewelry.  We can weld platinum, palladium, 10kt, 14kt, 18kt, and higher of gold both in yellow gold and white gold.  We also do repair work on sterling silver jewelry.
